Bill is the Founder and Director of zero bananas . In his 35 year career as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Counselor and Life Coach he has helped many individuals and their families confront and overcome addiction, anxiety, panic and other emotional problems.
The philosophy underlying zero bananas is one by which he now lives. He enjoys helping others to learn and practice “ableing” rather than enabling.
He and his colleagues are available in their Plantation and Boca office, in your home and by phone. They go all out and are all in, helping others to overcome emotional problems and addiction.

Mimi Gegg received her Masters in Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University. She has been on executive levels in developing empowerment, education and training programs throughout her career. Many of her projects are seen in our community today. In her work with Broward County Human Services, she implemented "Family Success Centers''. In coordination with JM Family Enterprises she Directed and expanded the Youth Automotive Training Center.
Continuing her commitment to training, education and empowerment, she led a five year project with the GEO Group, working with a large staff in a correctional facility of nearly two thousand inmates. Her work there can be seen in the development of 17 training programs, mandatory GED standards and the beautification of the prison property.
Today and for the last year, she has decided to share her gifts and energy, to our clients through technical, visual, music, silence, meditation, guided imagery, bio-feedback and non-denominational spiritual sharing. As the Director of The Tranquility Center, Mimi's mission and vision is to offer natural peace.
Tammy is a licensed mental health counselor with a Masters from Nova University. She has worked at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Canada, Bayview Center for Mental Health and Henderson Mental Health Clinic. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and motivational interviewing, which is a popular technique used in life coaching and in treating addiction.
She presently helps people in our center with a variety of problems including life adjustment,anxiety and panic,depression and addictive behaviors. She helps children, teens and adults in our office,their home or over the phone. She is a Board Certified Counselor and is also a certified as a qualified supervisor for registered mental health counselors.
Michelle holds a Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, she is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida, holds a certificate in hypnotherapy, and is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy.
Michelle launched her career working with families of children with developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Cerebral Palsy. After working with these families, Michelle went on to pursue a Masters degree in Family Therapy. Since, Michelle has worked on several government sponsored programs offering psychotherapy with families, individuals, couples, and children dealing with depression, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, relationship difficulties, and the like. Michelle also performed developmental evaluations for children under the age 3 years old for the Early Steps Part C Program.

Dr. Scala received his Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. His experience includes work in a variety of community mental health, medical, and educational settings in Florida. His experiences have included individual and group therapy, psychological assessment, and forensic assessment with children and adults of all ages
He has treated a wide range of illnesses that have included mood, anxiety, and conduct disorders, attention/deficit and learning disabilities, Autism and Asperger’s disorders, developmental disorders, traumatic stress, substance and sexual abuse, family issues, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, and personality disorders. Dr. Scala is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American College of Forensic Examiners in which he is a Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC). He currently helps children, teens adults, and families in his office or in-home visits.
As a clinical psychologist, Randy Levine has over 22 years clinical experience helping adolescents, adults, seniors, and couples with issues including improving relationships, healing depression, overcoming anxiety, recovery from addictions, decreasing physical and emotional pain, and assisting in spiritual growth and healing.
Dr. Levine combines the best of clinical psychology with assessment and a dynamic understanding of problems with the latest and most effective therapeutic tools including EMDR, Psych-K, and Energy psychology techniques. He has completed a 3 year advanced training in Spiritual psychology at the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism Spiritual psychology sees problems and symptoms as the doorway to healing. Lynn Smalheiser, M.S. graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a degree in counseling psychology in 1986. She has worked in educational and mental health settings in Florida, New York and Pennsylvania. Lynn has experience working with individuals with severe emotional problems. She specializes in working with women in transition, couples, children, teens and families.
She helps people with anxiety, depression, substance abuse,relationship problems and problems related to being abused.Lynn see clients in our Plantation office and provides in-home services as well.
